We are entering my favorite time of the year when the focus is on food, family, and merry-making. I love to journal, especially around Thanksgiving. However, I realize not everyone has the time or energy to dive into an in-depth journaling practice. Expressing gratitude is associated with a host of mental and physical benefits. Studies show that feeling thankful can improve sleep, mood, and immunity. Gratitude can decrease depression, anxiety, difficulties with chronic pain, and risk of disease.
